When something breaks, the first questions are always the same: what is down, since when, and what changed? Answering them usually means clicking through dashboards while a chat thread fills up. The Ionhour MCP Server lets an AI assistant answer them for you, straight from your monitoring data.

What the MCP server does

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets assistants call tools in other systems. Connect Ionhour once and your assistant can list checks and jobs, read open incidents and their timelines, and create new monitors from a plain-language request.

Built for the middle of an incident

Ask “which checks went down in the last hour?” or “summarise the open incident on the payments API” and get an answer grounded in real signals, not a guess. Access is scoped to the workspace you connect, so the assistant only sees the monitors and incidents that belong to it.
